My work begins in restless notebooks and ends, usually months later, in oil — though lately the digital and physical have been quietly trading places. I'm drawn to faces that look like weather, and weather that looks like memory.

How a commission
comes together.
I take on six commissions a year. The pace is intentional — it means we can build something that belongs to you, not to a queue. Below is the short version of the journey we'll take together.
We start with a conversation about your idea, gather any reference examples you have, and lock the brief. A 40% advance confirms your slot and kicks off the work.
You receive a work-in-progress preview to review. Once you confirm you're happy with the direction, a further 20% payment is collected before final polish.
I complete the artwork with the final refinements, then hand over the finished files on settlement of the remaining 40%.
